As defined by Termite Terrace
*A toon can not be killed* What this means is simple. You can do anything you want to a toon. Shoot him, drop an anvil/refrigerator/train/piano/etc. on his head and they‘ll literally spring back up to normal. The only known way to kill a toon is by using D.I.P. A mixture of turpentine, acetone and benzine; it's death for any animated friend.
*Hammerspace* a protagonist Toon can pull any number of objects from behind his/her back. The only rule is that is must fit both the setting (Space, Western, Tropical etc.) and have comic timing.
*Squash and Stretch* first developed by Tex Avery, the squash and stretch allows a toon to be flatten or stretched to any size or shape. All it takes it‘s a tug or a tire pump to return them back to normal.
*Laughter* Laughter is a toons most powerful weapon, but also their greatest weakness. If a toon goes for a significant amount of time without making someone laugh. That toon can begin to actually age and eventually fade away completely.
*Shave and a Hair cut* “Shave and a hair cut. Two bits” No matter what a toon is doing, even if it’s something extremely important. If this little rhythm is done, then a toon HAS to reply. Regardless. Even restraining them will prove useless.
*Hays Censorship Rule* This one is simple; if a Toon has a certain ratings mark, then he can not take part safely in anything above that rating. Bugs is a Warner Brothers so he can not indulge in anything above PG-13 without either being automatically censored or physically harmed by the activity.
*All the Invisible Things* Need a bicycle? Just pantomime and ta-da, you have an invisible bike. Or maybe a short cut to the top of a high cliff. Just pretend to be an elevator operator and suddenly find yourself being lifted into the air….Just remember--v
*Never Look Down* Or a toon will find themselves plummeting straight through the ground and leaving only a self-shaped hole. And maybe a co-star with a witty one-liner.
*Power of the Star* As the main cartoon star of Warner Brothers, Bugs is designed to never lose. It's even written down in the big book o'toons. Though this does not mean that he won‘t get taken down a few notches before figuring out exactly how to deal with his villain of the picture. This ‘power‘ is defunct if Bugs becomes the instigator. There are several cartoons where he doesn‘t win, simply because he‘s the Jerk that picks on the little guy.
*Singing and Dancing* This one really makes no sense but somehow Bugs singing or dancing has the power to make those around him also break into song or dance. Sometimes this backfires on him and just ends up ticking the other guy off more though…
*Reverse Psychology* Pretty self-explanatory. Bugs starts by saying one thing Duck Season! and his opponent will reply and the pattern repeats for a bit. Bugs will then switch his response to the opposite and his opponent will do the same. Ending up with Bugs winning and his opponent usually getting confused/upset/surprised/shot.
*Impossible Dig* Bugs can dig anywhere as long as there is ground. Even asphalt and cement will be pushed up as he tunnels beneath it.
Bugs isn‘t the strongest cartoon out there physically, his muscles when flex resemble little grapes, but what he lacks in muscle he more then makes up for in brain. Using strategy and creative tricks, Bugs keeps one step ahead of whatever is after him. He always out smarts his co-star.
